Aggression

Etienne J. Sarfelli
A gray spot, a smudge
Almost like a bruise
Evidence of the frustration
Of an unsatisfying life
Evidence of anger
At feeling trapped
An object thrown at a wall
A fit of rage
An act of aggression
A pointless maneuver
As the aggression lingers
but the smudge must be washed away -erased
If only it were that easy to erase the frustration
But it lingers long after
The wall has been cleaned
