Airborne Adder

Poem

Kady Birdwhistle
Walking home
Two clever eyes spied me
Coal-black and cobalt-BLUE
Winding its LochNessian tail
Through waves of soft-grass
IT LEAPS across Converse shoes
Scared Chuck Taylor away-running
Tony hopps madly like drunken rabbit
and said

"YOWWWWL!!!!!!"

Today Tony told me about a snake that sort of leap out at him while he was walking home from work. I think that it was not a poisonous snake, but you never know about these things, I mean it very well could have been poisonous, but I think that it was not, because it did not bite Tony at all and he had no aversion to the snake, other than the fact that it leapt at him and scared him. LOL! We wrote this poem together!!!!

Snakes are incredible creatures. Their physical capabilities are fascinating. I am glad the snake gave Tony nothing more than an interesting story.

See this snake was good, not bad. Anything that brings two people together for any reason is good thing. (BIG GRIN!)
