Airsoft Players: How to Make an Airsoft Grenade

Grenades are very effective weapons in paintball and airsoft sports. They work great for flushing people out of areas, and also work great for taking down clusters of enemies.

If you see a grenade sit next to you, your best bet is to get up and get out of there! These work great for flushing people out of their bunkers because you can shoot at them immediately after they get up and run from the grenade which you threw in there. If they decide not to run, however, your grenade will end up getting the kill for you.

Grenades make airsoft games much more realistic, because they add to the arsenal of the sport, and require much more realistic skill to play the game.

The great things about making airsoft grenades is that they're extremely cheap. These grenades use airsoft bb's to get opponets out. These bb's are released in a forceful manner which will cause the opponet to get hit and call theirselves out. Some of these grenades are explosive, some just open on impact, and others are practically just thrown.

One way to make an airsoft grenade is to use a balloon and some airsoft bb's.

Go to your local department or dollar store, as well as anywhere else that you think would sell water balloons, and buy a few. I usually buy in quantities of about 100.

Once you get home, fill a balloon with about 50 airsoft bb's. Push all of them down to the bottom. Repeat and fill with another 50 airsoft bb's. This will be much easier with a fast fill airsoft container.

After you have all 100 airsoft bb's in the water balloon, simply fill the balloon up with air. Fill it to about the size of your fist. From here, just tie the balloon, and be ready to throw it! It should blow up on impact, because of the weight of the bb's.

Another great way is to use an easter egg and a fire cracker. Simply fill the easter egg with bb's, and hang the wick of the fire cracker out of the easter egg.

Make sure to be careful with these types of grenades, especially while lighting them. Do not use wicks that are too short to the point where it'll blow up in your hands before you even manage to throw the grenade.

As with any airsoft games, be careful, follow the safety rules, and have an adult be present!!
