Al Gore- More Harm Than Good?

Climate Change, the thought that humanity is pushing Earth to it's breaking point and in return we shall all suffer some horrible fate after another. Is it true? Or just another story in a much longer line of false and very misleading theories and scams?
What is Climate Change?

Climate change is the thought that we are destroying our environment with harmful carbon emissions. With our overuse and over reliance on gasoline and other unhealthy contaminants that have adversely effected our environment. Causing it in turn to in effect 'lash out' against us, eventually it is something that will lead us to doom.

Made into a public crisis a few years ago by once respected Vice President and Presidential Candidate Al Gore. He made (rather makes) a killing now with carbon credits, and other such eco-advocate activities. He's garnered much attention to something that used to be considered 'fear mongering by hippies'.
What's Wrong With Protecting the Earth?

Absolutely nothing. What is taken as a fierce and horrible thing, is something that is also happening to our solar neighbors as well. The planets out to Pluto's region are all warming up. The issue isn't protecting the Earth, it's scamming people and fear mongering that is the issue.

People should be working our ways off our fossil fuels, and onto more renewable energies. There's not much debating on how wonderful a cause that is. Unfortunately, in this case the house is built on rather shabby foundation.

There is a fear if it is truly revealed as the hoax it is, people may no longer work towards noble causes such as green energy.
The Problem:

To be honest here, if Gore was as concerned about the environment as he claims, would he have actually rendered his own 'Carbon Concert' moot? Either the man is a brutal con artist, or honestly is that stupid (and there is a hard time doubting his intelligence).

The turn of phase used Climate Change is in and of itself a misnomer. The climate has always and will always change. Why did they change the name from global warming? We're actually have more ice now in the polar regions that we have since the 1970's. Sadly, I have yet to hear Gore mention any of that though. It's seeming that he is blind to anything that does not support his own unfounded conclusions.

His own version of the 'tobacco lobby' in the pseudo-intellectuals he has chosen for the 'scientific evidence' is nothing more than a scare tactic. It's sad when a man who at one point had so much respect seems to be in reality nothing more than your common crook.

A common crook who will be doing far more damage than good.

A common crook who may set back any positive advancements when people see the fraud he is committing.
