Al Gore Sex Scandal: Portland Police Reopen Masseuse Groping Case

Magnolia Miller
Al Gore's inconvenient sex scandal allegations are about to become even more, um, inconvenient. The 54 year old masseuse who originally brought the allegations against the former vice president in 2006, has come forward again with evidence that her claims are the "inconvenient truth" (I know, I just can't help myself) for Mr. Global Warming, Al Gore.

Fox News is reporting that the Portland Oregon police department has reopened the case which has been opened and closed once or twice already.

As one might expect, big Al is denying said allegations and according to his publicist at least, claims that "Further investigation into this matter will only benefit Mr. Gore." Erm, yeah. We'll see about that, I'm sure.

An interesting and perhaps damning piece of information surfaced last week regarding the Gore's assets when this story was beginning to gain traction again. It seems that when the allegations were first leveled against Mr. Gore back in 2006, that he and his now estranged wife, Tipper made a move to protect their financial position from any potential law suits by transferring nine of their real estate properties into a limited liability company.

That Al Gore would take measures to protect himself financially does not indicate guilt in and of itself, but it certainly raises one's eyebrows. If he is indeed completely innocent of the allegations and there is no evidence that can be brought against him, potentially threatening his financial position, then why would he take such aggressive action to protect himself?

And of course, in light of all of this, one can't also help but wonder if this is at the bottom of why and he and his wife of 40 years have separated and are divorcing?

It's hard for me not to be enjoying this right now, I will concede. I'm not a fan of Al Gore, his pompous politics or his arrogance. That he would overestimate his position of power and delude himself into thinking he was above the laws that he insists the rest of us live by, does not surprise me in the least.

But, as is always the case when one lives under such delusions of untouchable power, the boomerang laws of Karma swing around and give you one swift kick in the ass. Payback's a bitch, Al.

Well,it's been two years since this was posted. If there was DNA from semen then the Portland police could have had it tested by now.Guess they didn't find any credible evidence to go anywhere with the case.Strangely enough,in America, you are innocent until proven guilty. You know, proven with facts set forth in a court and a verdict by a jury.

This is why I stay away from political articles, as far as writing them. I'll read them, but just don't write them. This comment below about buying "Gucci handbags" is pretty interesting. lol

I'm not sure what I'm saying here that isn't factual. I've not said one thing about the facts other than the "fact" that the case has been reopened. True. I've also said that "it makes one wonder" why he would take action to protect his assets if he didn't think he had something to lose. I also said, that "in and of itself, this does not make him guilty". And it doesn't. However, she stands to lose alot more than Al Gore for bringing false allegations against him. So, either she's a serious nut job who has no clue as to the magnitude of her actions, or she has something against him and has just now gotten the nerve to speak up. This article is an "opinion" piece as is most of my political stuff, by the way.

Just to be clear I am not an Al Gore fan nor a fan of false accusations against someone for money period. I think assuming his financial changes may have been because he and tipper were preparing to separate (since it was all just last year) we all know that they didn't just decide to separate in a months time it took more time than that. I think assuming anything in a case like this is a disaster to both parties involved.

First of all in 2009 there was no investigation - the woman who is leveling this accusation against Gore decided with her attorney not to use the police and refused to be a part of the investigation she wanted to go at Al in civil court. The second time she came to the police (2010 just recently) she gave a statement but in that statement (which I read and heard) she never mentions a witness nor a pair of pants she has that the claim is there is Mr. Gore's semen on them. Please get more facts just a snippet isn't what the poor man or poor woman (the accuser) needs in the news right now.
