Al Gore Speaks Out on Sexual Assault Allegations

A week after a story broke of Al Gore being accused of sexual assault by a massage therapist, the former VP speaks out. The claims comes from a woman who says Al Gore assaulted her during a three hour massage session four years ago.

Gore's camp released a strong denial, stating:

"Further investigation into this matter will only benefit Mr. Gore," says family spokesperson Kalee Kreider. "The Gores cannot comment on every defamatory, misleading and inaccurate story generated by tabloids. Mr. Gore unequivocally and emphatically denied this accusation when he first learned of its existence three years ago. He stands by that denial."

Reportedly the woman refused to be interviewed by police, but was considering suing the former VP before approaching the National Enquirer last month, asking for $1 million for her story.
