Alanis Morissette Marries DJ Mario Treadway

Alanis Morissette and boyfriend (DJ) Mario Treadway have officially tied the knot.

On May 22 the happy couple wed at their Los Angeles home in a private ceremony with family and close friends present, and was confirmed by her rep to E! News. It is the first marriage for both, who wed just ten days before the singer's 36th birthday, on June 1.

The singer was previously engaged to Ryan Reynolds, who is now married to Scarlett Johannson.

Alanis is from Canada and the singer-songwriter has won 7 Grammy Awards and 16 Juno Awards. Her album Jagged Little Pill remains as the best selling debut album by a female artist in the United States, and the highest selling album worldwide. Jagged Little Pill sold 30 million units.

In 2004, she became an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church. Besides being in the music business as a singer, songwriter, and record producer she is also an actress.

Her albums have sold more than 60 million albums worldwide including her albums Alanis (1991), Now Is The Time (1992), Jagged Little Pill (1995), Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie (1998), Under Rug Swept (2002), So-Called Chaos (2002), and Flavors of Entanglement (2008).

Some of Alanis Morissette's biggest hits include You Oughta Know, Hand In My Pocket, Ironic, You Learn, Uninvited, Head Over Feet, and No Apologies.
