Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia

Great Quality, Fabulous Price

Chris M. Carmichael
Consumers often mistake shampoo price as a rough indicator of the shampoo's quality; expensive shampoos are not always better shampoos, however, and not all cheap shampoos are bad. Quality shampoos can be found at under two dollars a bottle.

The next time you shop for shampoo, look at the prices of the product at eye level, then let your gaze fall to the bottom shelf. See a difference? If your supermarket is like most, the lowest shelf is where you will find the least expensive products. It is here you will find Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia shampoo.

Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia is one of several shampoos in Alberto VO5's "Herbals" collection. At around one dollar per 15 OZ. bottle (price may be more or less, depending on the store and your geographic location) this shampoo is a steal and you may be inclined to question the quality. Don't be fooled by the low price. Alberto VO5 shampoos are comparable to many (and better than some), more expensive, shampoos.

Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia leaves hair very manageable and soft. This shampoo contains extracts of aloe, jasmine, and freesia which, combined, create a subtle, delightful herbal scent.

Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia should work well with most hair types, but I've only my own hair type to judge it by. According to my hair stylist, I have very fine and thick hair--the strands are fine but there are a lot of them. My hair has definite moods and can be either limp or flyaway depending on the weather conditions.

The shampoo adds volume to my hair while at the same time taming unruly strands. My hair is left shiny clean and superbly manageable.

What I love most about Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia :

It leaves my hair feeling clean and soft.

It has a pleasant scent that is not overpowering.

It adds volume to hair.

It costs only one dollar at my local supermarket.

This shampoo is not tested on animals.

Final comments about Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia:

There isn't anything I don't like about Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia. It is a wonderful product suitable for almost everyone. I've used other Alberto VO5 products throughout the years and this is one of my favorites.

Alberto VO5 Free Me Freesia claims to keep color-treated hair looking great. I haven't colored my hair in a while, so I cannot verify the accuracy of that claim. It seems to be a very gentle shampoo; I imagine it would be fine, therefore, for color-treated hair. Free Me Freesia is a moisturizing shampoo. Some shampoos that claim to be moisturizing leave my hair dull and limp. I never have that problem with this product. Alberto VO5 consistently out-performs many other shampoos I have tried.

Good review! I use it too. It is about all I can aford AND I like that it is not tested on animals! (I would not use it if it was.)

Nice review. I love the way so many of these shampoos smell but most of them make my head itch. I was told that it might be the alcohol content.
