I was immediately drawn to this conditioner by the gorgeous packaging. The plastic bottle is mostly clear, which allows the pale green color of the product to show through. The picture of a luscious cut lime on the front label caught my eye and intrigued me enough to flip the cap. The scent convinced me that this was a purchase I needed to make. I loved how clean and refreshing it smelled, combined with a hint of sweet fruit. The low price of only $1.69 for a fifteen fluid ounce bottle sealed the deal. We have all been taken in by the high price of beauty products in the past, so scoring a bargain is a definite plus.
The back of the bottle contains offers a plethora of important information. Not the least of which is that this product is not tested on animals and that the packaging is fully recyclable. The list of ingredients include water, rosemary extract, kiwi and lime extract and biotin. It is also stated on the back that this hair conditioner is perfectly safe for color treated hair and since I fall into that category, I was quite pleased by this fact.
After washing my hair as usual later that day, I squeezed a dollop from the bottle and applied to my ends and then more sparingly in the mid section. I let the conditioner absorb into my strands for a few minutes and then rinsed under warm water. The first thing I noticed was the exquisite scent that filled the bathroom. The tangy quality of the lime scent mixed with the sweet kiwi was heavenly. The rich and creamy quality of the conditioner also felt quite luxurious. It took only a small amount to evenly coat all the sections of the hair that require a bit more attention, leaving enough for the areas closest to the scalp that are not nearly as dry and thirsty. It lathered up beautifully and rinsed away very clean.
Alberto VO5 Kiwi Lime Squeeze Clarifying Conditioner is a five star beauty tool. It performs exactly as it promises. It conditions just as well as flashier brands without leaving a heavy buildup behind. My hair feels both squeaky clean and wonderfully moisturized after using it. I love when a budget beauty product surpasses my expectations and saves me money in the process. I definitely plan to keep my shower well stocked with this supermarket conditioner that performs as though it came from the salon.

I agree! We started using VO5 products a couple of years ago as a way to trim beauty costs, and I've been so impressed with all their shampoo and conditioner products. Hard to beat the price for a dollar....plus it's made in the USA.
