Every town has it's hot spots and Aldershot ontario is no different. This article lists a few of these hot spots and why we as residents choose to frequent them. Hope you will consider them on your next trip to Aldershot.

Places to eat in Aldershot
Russell Williams - Good family diner style restaurants. Hot spot for breakfast. Usually seats within 20 minutes on the weekends. All day breakfast. At the corner of waterdown road and plains road west.

Lesleys Chaps - A place where everyone knows your name. The food is good too. Suggestion - Chaps caps and the daily soup is always made fresh. The manager Lesley makes everyone feel at home and always has a friendly hello luvy for all. on Plains Road.

Family Fun and Inexpensive Things to do
Take a trip down to LaSalle park. Pack a picnic lunch. There is a community pool in the summer. This is also a famous wedding reception place (Gabrielles) There are hiking trails and swings and wide open spaces. Totally safe environment for your kids. Tons of picnic tables and the place is packed throughout the summer. The marina is below the park where you can also go for a nice leisurely walk. It is a great place for families and couples to just relax and take in the scenery.

Hidden Valley Park another family hot spot in the summer. It is a very large park in Aldershot that is great for family reunions. The park is massive and has a baseball diamond. It is a popular spot for kids adults and seniors. Bring your camping chairs though. There is a play area for kids and some interesting hiking trails. Not stroller friendly though.
