This is the kind of behavior usually reserved for NBA players who may or may not be working on a rap album.
The New York Post broke the story, titled "Stray-Rod", with a full-page photo. Alex's nickname is "A-Rod". Get it?
"The cozy duo dined with two pals at a pricey steakhouse late Sunday night," the Post reported, "then headed to a glitzy strip club before making their way to his hotel, where the pair ducked into an elevator and headed upstairs just after midnight."
Rodriguez and his booty call stayed at the Four Seasons, even though his teammates and coaches were bedding down at the near-by Park Hyatt.
Rodriguez' wife Cynthia (2004 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue model) and 2-year old daughter were not in town during the rendezvous.
Prior to perusing the plastic assets of college students and single mothers at the Brass Rail, the secret couple was spotted at the Harbour Sixty Steakhouse.
Rodriguez joined the major leagues in 1996. In 2001 he signed a record-breaking 10-year, $252 million contract. That same year Derek Jeter also signed a 10-year contract- but for only $189 million.

Came up on Google Alerts - not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing but thought you'd want to know. :-)
I love the fact that A-Rod was staying at the Four Seasons, and the rest of the team was staying at they Hyatt. "Near-by" is it? How about right across the street, on the opposite corner? Hilarious!
And we're sure it's not his sister? Ouch!
