The Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool opens up their six-week Docent Spring Training Program on April 9, 2011. I have to say that the program is filled with so much interesting information on horticulture, nature, landscaping design and Lincoln Park history in general, that it is very worth while to sign up just for the learning experience alone. When you're a Docent, you give the free tours, and although you'll see the same scenery over and over, if you're like me, you will never tire of seeing the gorgeous wildflowers, stone walkways, breathtaking landscape and waterfall.
If you want more information on how you can sign up for the Docent Spring Training at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, call 312-742-4698 or check out their website.
