Ali had everything going for her on The Bachelor, but had to leave due to job commitments. That worked out for the best since Jake chose Vienna. It worked out best for Ali, too. Now she gets a second chance as The Bachelorette.
Ali was the sweetest, most sincere girl on The Bachelor 2010. She won the hearts of viewers and quickly became a fan favorite. She was also Vienna's nemesis.
I'm glad she gets the opportunity to be The Bachelorette. She deserves it. She was led down a rosy path by Jake, who was so self-centered he didn't offer any helpful advice when she faced the difficult decision of staying with Jake or leaving to keep her job. He said he had feelings for her, but all along he had his heart set on Vienna.
Our hopes were raised when Ali called back and asked Jake if she could return. In a surprising move, after all he said he felt for her, Jake told her no. He said he had made too much progress with the remaining three women.
That only rallied viewers behind Ali all the more. We saw her cheerful and in love. Then, we saw her completely broken. We also saw Jake toy with her emotions.
Now, on The Bachelorette 2010, in May, we have the chance to watch Ali find love. This time she's in the pilot's seat, making the decisions.
While Ali seemed like the obvious choice all along, it seemed for a time that Tenley might have been the new Bachelorette. She was also devastated by Jake who strung her along until the final rose ceremony. Still, she handled rejection with grace and an open heart.
The only problem with Tenley is that she is too fragile to be The Bachelorette. I don't think she could handle the stress, nor does she seem the type to be able to date a number of men at once.
I don't think Ali will lead the men down the same path she traveled. She knows how it feels.
I do think that Ali will explore her options with the men she meets on The Bachelorette 2010 and, hopefully, find love. She says she believes in the process and knows it works because she fell in love with Jake. Now, she gets the opportunity to find someone who will offer her love in return.
I've never watched The Bachelorette before, but I really like Ali and will tune in to cheer her on.

Post a CommentHave to say as a retired therapist, that Ali showed alot of traits that were not age appropriate. For example, she constantly sniped and made caustic remarks which screams highschool behavior on the bachelor. She may be a good choice if you want drama!
I have to disagree with you on this one. I did not find Ali to be sweet or sincere at all. I was not a fan of Vienna, but I really disliked Ali's constant negativity and aggressiveness toward her. I won't be watching Ali on the Bachelorette!
I'm happy for her. She's a doll!
Thanks for letting us know... :o)
I wish her luck, I don't see why someone like her needs to go on tv to find a husband!
She's the perfect choice.
