Alice Greenfingers: Tips and Tricks for the Game

Plant Crops and Make Money in Alice Greenfingers!

Alice Greenfingers is a time management/strategy game from Playfirst and Big Fish Games. In this farming game, you play Alice, an ambitious farmer who needs to make a living selling crops. If you can get past the old school MS-DOS-style graphics, Alice Greenfingers is a fun, addicting and relaxing game. Here are several hints and tips for playing Alice Greenfingers.

Farm Layout
To make things easier, plant all the same seeds in the same area. Once you get further in the game, things can become frantic. If you don't have your crops organized neatly, you'll get frustrated later on. Also, between each patch, leave a small walking space. This allows you to place a sprinkler. If you do not leave a small space of open land, you cannot place the sprinkler there.

Buy the sprinkler as soon as it becomes available.
The sprinkler unlocks around day 4 or 5. Layout your sprinklers so that each crop receives water. The sprinkler reaches 2 crops in every direction it sprays. Don't worry if you misplace the sprinkler-you can always move it later.

There is no upgrade to make Alice Greenfingers move faster. Unlike most time-management games, Alice's speed at the beginning of the game is as fast as she gets.

Don't worry, the crops never die
Unlike other farming games (Farmville, Farm Town, Ranch Rush, etc.), crops on Alice Greenfingers never die once fully grown. Don't feel rushed to harvest your crops-you can take the game at your own pace.

Charge at least $7 for each crop in the market.
Prices fluctuate-demand for crops vary daily and many times, you won't have time to keep checking the market for current demand. If you don't want to deal with the hassle of changing your prices, leave your prices at a minimum of $7 per box. They'll always sell at this price, albeit some slower than others.

Always keep crops at the market.
Don't wait until your storage barns are full - always keep putting crops for sale at the market-it will keep your cash flow going.

Queue, queue, queue!
You can queue Alice's future actions by clicking on crops, boxes, eggs and so on.

Do I need to pay for doctor appointments and farming books?
In my experience, no, it's not needed. It seems to be a waste of money, as buying them and not buying them had no impact on gameplay.
