Alice in Wonderland Apparal: Guide to the Best Handcrafted Wearables

My husband and I are going to the midnight showing of Alice in Wonderland. He is making this great sacrifice for me to prove he loves me more than Tim Burton who planned the release of this movie on my fortieth birthday. I do so love Tim Burton movies, Johnny Depp and am practically obsessed with Alice in Wonderland.

Thrilled as I am that we are going, my sweet husband will not consider dressing up for the premier. But I do have a nice wish list of handcrafted items that I will share with you.

Steampunk Tiara Feeling like royalty? Try this amazing tiara to wear to the premier of Alice and Wonderland or whenever you need a little boost of elegance. Handmade from brass wire and filigree, moon opals, real gold pearls and crystal snowflakes, my favorite part are the pieces of tiny cogs and wheels. This tiny tiara can be worn around a messy top knot or as a bracelet.

Tea Time Bustier, or Classic Blue Alice in Wonderland Toile Waist Cincher. These are not for everyday, but it is perfect for certain days. One-of-a-kind items from Tuse Jolie are extremely well crafted with loads of Lolita details. Fully lined and boned bustier and the waist cincher actually cinches!

White Rabbit Skirt and Corset. "Oh my ears and whiskers, how late it is getting" Pretty, highly detailed design, handmade by Smarmy Clothing. I particularly love the high waist and train like skirt. This is another very noticeable look; even paired with a simple black top it would make quite the entrance!

Alice in Wonderland Pink T-shirt. I suppose I could go more subtle, and wear a t-shirt and jeans. Plenty of screen printed T's to choose from, but this classic illustration is my favorite with Alice holding the flamingo, "Birds of a Feather"

Vintage Mad Hatter T-shirt. Possibly I could talk my man into wearing a matching theme T-shirt. Would this be too much to ask? The Bold Banana has clearly the best men's graphic t-shirts the world has ever seen. Even without the Alice in Wonderland T-shirt, this shop is the best.
