Alice in Wonderland Halloween Costumes

Halloween Theme Party

Denise
What better way to celebrate Halloween this year than to go back to Wonderland, right? For Halloween costumes, I think this theme is the most fun. In March 2010, Disney will be releasing Alice In Wonderland-again with the wonderfully talented master of creepy, director Tim Burton. I don't want to give away too much of the story, but it goes like this: Alice Kingsley is an all grown up nineteen, when she has to attend this snobbish party. After being scared away from it, she runs back to the hole where she was several years before.

Some of my favorite actors/actresses appearing in it are:
Johnny Depp-The Mad Hatter
Helena Bonham Carter-The Red Queen
Anne Hathaway-The White Queen
Alan Rickman-The Caterpillar
Crispin Glover-The Knave of Hearts
Christopher Lee-The Jabberwock
and who can forget the most important character in the film, Mia Wasikowska as Alice Kinglsey. There is so much that you can do with an Alice In Wonderland theme party. You can buy cool Halloween costumes, or make original Halloween costumes. What type of party are you having? For this theme there are children's Halloween costumes, adult Halloween costumes as well as teen Halloween costumes.

For this article, I will just tell you where you can go to buy costumes and ideas you can use to set up your very own Alice In Wonderland party. They even have accessories, from an Alice wig to Mary Janes. Do you have pets? One online store even has costumes for them too! at www.buyaliceinwonderlandcostumes.com you can find Alice In Wonderland Costumes for the whole family. What I like is that they also have plus sizes too!

Other online stores I came across were Sears, Costume Kingdom and One stop Plus. Once you have the Halloween costumes, you can think of how you want to have your party. You want to send special invitations, think of decorating and most importantly, the food! If I were throwing an Alice In Wonderland theme party, here are a few suggestions.

Invitations
Alice
The Mad Hatter
Cheshire Cat

Music
The Disney Original Soundtrack

Drinks
Buy water bottles, or what you like and fill with colored drinks like blue, red or something else and put a label "Drink Me" on them. You can use juice quite easily for kids/teen parties, with a touch of ginger ale, and you can use something different for adult parties.
Tea

Food
Sugar cookies frosted with "Eat Me" written on them
Mock Turtle Soup
Tiny sandwiches, with the crust cut off
Tart
cake in the shape of a teapot, or an Alice In Wonderland character.

This is not by all means a complete list, what you can do with the party is limited only by your imagination. For more information about planning an Alice In Wonderland Party, go visit the websites below.
