'Alice in Wonderland' is a Wonderful Movie for 2010

There have been some good movies this year. In addition, there have been some bad movies this year. "Alice in Wonderland" i s one of the good movies of 2010. In fact, out of all the movies that I have seen this year, "Alice in Wonderland" is the best movie of 2010. This science fiction and fantasy movie is a wonderful adaption of the classic book. I will admit that I was a bit worried when I heard that another version of " Alice in Wonderland was being made. Don't get me wrong, I loved the book and I loved the animated version of this movie. However, remaking a great movie often leads to disastrous results. But, once I heard that both Johnny Depp and Tim Burton were involved in the project, I couldn't wait to see this movie. Well, I am happy to say that I wasn't disappointed. The cast is a major reason why this movie is the best movie of 2010.

Johnny Depp is a wonderful actor. He played the the perfect Mad Hatter. In short, Johnny Depp played this part to a tee and a tea. I loved the mad tea party and the croquet match. I will confess that I would have a tea party with Johnny Depp anytime. In fact, no actor plays wacky or mad characters better than Johnny Depp. Moreover, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter play the White and Red Queen with masterful precision. Anne was pure sweetness, innocence, and light as the White Queen. She also looked angelic in white. Anne Hathaway balanced Helena's performance as the Red Queen well.

The stand out performance in "Alice in Wonderland" was Helena Bonham as the Red Queen. She was deliciously mean. She was also dark and creepy. I enjoyed when she asked for a warm pig belly for her feet. In addition, she has a strong set of pipes for yelling at everyone. Moreover, Mia Wasikowsky made an impressive debut as Alice.

I liked the movie dark twist. Tim Burton is a dark movie genius. It also appears that Johnny Depp is Tim Burton's muse because he has teamed up with Johnny for many films. In addition, the costumes were great because they stood out with splashes of color against the bleak backdrop of the film. The fact that the film was in 3-D was good too.

" Alice in Wonderland" is the best movie of the year due to its all-star cast and wonderful costumes. In addition, Tim Burton was the perfect director for this adaptation of the classic book. I didn't think that dark and Disney went together well. However, they go together like a mad tea party and blueberry scones.
