Alicia Keys Pregnant, and Still Rocks Her Wedding in a Vera Wang Gown!

Alicia Keys, pregnant, looked very radiant. Pregnant brides such as Alicia Keys are numerous, although they aren't widely talked about in the main media. Now that Alicia Keys rocked her wedding wearing Vera Wang, pregnant brides all over have nothing to worry about.

Our society has a taboo about getting married while expecting. Although many more people are getting pregnant out of wedlock, it's still something that garners sideways glances. It's remnants of our past, part of our traditions that didn't move forward with the rest of society.

That being said, simply being pregnant and not married isn't that big of a deal. It's kind of strange, though, that expectant mothers still get raised eyebrows when they decide to walk down the aisle.

This year should shatter those stereotypes. Both Alicia Keys and Bethenny Frankel made lovely mothers-to-be/brides and even wore beautiful couture wedding gowns.

Alicia Keys wore a beautiful Grecian inspired wedding gown, complete with a jewel encrusted head piece and sandals. The way that the ivory silk draped over her plump belly was oh-so-exquisite. Bethenney Frankel Wedding Gown

According to Stylelist.com, Bethenney walked down the aisle in a Amsale's Kenneth Poole gown called "Romantic." The gown features a ruched satin bodice with Swarovski crystal beading accenting the empire waist and an artfully bustled skirt concluding in a chapel train.

As you can see, these two celebrity brides made for great maternity wedding fashion. This past weekend's Alicia Keys wedding showcased that you can look exquisite even when you're expecting. It reminded us of Bethenney Frankel's fashion and style. Maternity brides shouldn't be a taboo anymore. Not today. Not with these celebrity brides paving the way.

Alicia Keys' baby is due in November. It is her first child, and her husband's third. Swizz Beatz has two other children with singer Mashonda.
