Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Are Engaged & Expecting a Baby
I suppose the entertainment world is "happy" for the lovey-dovey couple, but I for one, am having a difficult time seeing the happiness in it. That's because Swizz Beatz has just recently divorced. Yeah.
But, unless you follow the rap or hip-hop world, you probably wouldn't know that. Yes. Swizz Beatz was married to Mashonda Tifrere and they have a child together, who is around 2 years old at this writing.
You also probably wouldn't know that Alicia Keys began seeing Swizz Beatz while he was still married to Mashonda Tifrere. And finally, you probably wouldn't know that Mashonda Tifrere had reached out to Alicia Keys and basically did her best Dolly Parton impression asking "Jolene Not to Take Her Man".
But, it looks like Mashonda didn't quite get through to Jolene, I mean, Alicia. So, not only did Jolene, um, Alicia, take Mashonda's man, but she's now having his baby too.
I don't know, folks, I'm having a hard time seeing the joy in this one. Yeah, it's great a woman is in love and anytime a baby comes into this world, it is a joyous event. But, how can the music world celebrate when what essentially occurred is that Swizz Beatz cheated on his wife and little boy and walked away from them to hook-up with Alicia Keys.
It's also being reported that Swizz Beatz (does anybody else think this is a stupid name or is it just me?) has another child from a previous relationship too. Ahem.
So, I wonder if Alicia Keys is living under the delusion that the love she shares with Swizz Beatz is the "real deal", and that the baby she is going to have with Swizz Beatz is going to be the baby he loves and honors the most.
News flash Alicia Keys - it's not and it won't be.
I'm deeply disappointed in Alicia Keys. As a lover of piano myself, she has always been an artist I've admired and been inspired by. She is a hugely talented woman with great musical genius. But, I would have expected more from someone so talented and gifted.
Not anymore, I guess. Because it sure doesn't take genius or any special talent to walk off with somebody's man and an innocent little boy's father.

Yes, Malina....unfortunately, you do understand this correctly. I remember reading about this a few months before he was divorced. There was a bunch of hay being made about her having an affair with him. Until now, she never acknowledged the relationship.

Okay, did I understand this correctly: The wife (legal) of this person asked Alicia no to take her husband! So sad. what is wrong with these celebrities? Is it just the thing now days to take a man away from his wife. There are thousands and thousands of single men out there. what ever happened to a married person being off limits!
