Jennifer Lopez is set to return as one of three judges on "American Idol." The 42-year-old mother of twins Max and Emme announced her split from Marc Anthony on July 15. The tabloids have already began the fallout pictures- as they follow, snap, and print photos of J.Lo's personal life.

Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson are also returning for season 11. This information has been confirmed by "American Idol's" Executive Producer, Nigel Lythgoe, on Wednesday. He also confirmed that Ryan Seacrest will be back for hosting duties.

Lythgoe says that all three judges are going to hit the road for season 11 auditions in Denver, Houston, St. Louis, Portland, San Diego, Pittsburgh and Charleston. August, is also the month of many "AI" Alumni birthdays, check them out here: http://www.americanidol.com/calendar/

As the judges continue finding more talent for the new season, the top singers from season 10 are still touring across America for the American Idol LIVE! tour, along with winner Scotty McCreery.

Fans are excited to see the show return soon and I know I can't wait!

This isn't as good news as it could be. I was hoping we'd get someone who could be more honest with the contestants and keep kids who aren't ready for this out of the competition. Case in point - Lauren Alaina just wasn't worthy of being the runner up, but they coddled her to keep her from crying like a baby instead of telling her that if she wasn't emotionally mature enough to take criticism, then she wasn't ready for the competition.
