All About Alex Wong

Alex Wong may have faced an injury that ended this season of So You Think You Can Dance and put him through surgery within days, but that doesn't mean he's in hiding. While he's recovering from the surgery to reattach his tendon, Alex has been spending time on Facebook and Twitter, getting to know his fans, and getting more personal. His "21 Questions" on Facebook has revealed a lot about the singer, from silly to serious.

According to his Q&A, Alex Dustin (yes, that's his middle name) is 23. He has one brother. He is Canadian (proud one at that!) from Vancouver who has been living in Miami beach last 5 years (working with the ballet company). He has a cat named Meeko (after the raccoon in Pocahontas) and a girlfriend.

Alex's favorites? As far as music goes, he's a big fan of Michael Buble. He likes the television shows Glee and Family Guy and the Disney movies Lion King and Aladdin. His favorite dog breed is Golden Retriever, he loves Mean Girls and his favorite song is Jordin Sparks' No Air. His favorite book is "Shade's Children" by Garth Nix, but he's also a fan of Augusten Burroughs. He also loves singing.

The five things he can't live without? "Friends, Family, Cell Phone, Bubble Tea, Computer".

When asked to list his best friends, fellow contestant Kent Boyd did make the list. Also included were Maira Barriga, Eric Tamm, Alpha Ng.

When asked about biggest regrets, Alex responds he has no regrets. And the rule he lives by - possibly one we should all live by - is to always have laughter.

Fans asked a lot about dance. When questioned on what he'd be if he wasn't a dancer, he replied he'd either be a zoo keeper or an astronaut. Aside from Mia Michaels, who he's already worked with, the choreographers he wants to work with are William Forsythe and Jiri Kylian. When asked about his "ultimate dance career goal", Alex responded, "I don't think I really have one, but to be a Principal Dancer somewhere, appear on Broadway, do a few tv shows, dance backup for some amazing artists, do some music videos... Hahaha, I guess I have a lot!"

As far as So You Think You Can Dance predictions, Alex gives his BFF some love. He picks Kent as the Season 7 winner. He hopes to return to SYTYCD himself next season, but it all depends on whether or not his injury has healed by then.
