All My Children, a Weekly Rant!

After my previous rant about how the writers need to get their acts together for the sake of all soap fans of All My Children, I tune in to the show and guess what, I am a bit lost as to what is going on. And I love it! Part of the enjoyment and hook to these storylines are keeping the audience on their toes and not letting them know exactly what is around the corner. If soaps are going to be as predictable as knowing when a hard boiled egg is ready, then why watch ,when you know what is going to happen.

Well, when I sat down to watch the program Ryan seemed a bit different. Now, I know that he was going through a weird life is great after being shot in the head phase but he actually looks different. Ryan looks like a man in lust and full of passion. Well, let me tell you that Ryan is back in time in 2004 when he and Kendall were hot, hot, hot. Now, I am a bit tired of seeing this triangle of love issues between Ryan and Kendall but something in me wants to see those two be happy together. I never really believed the "love" between Zack and Kendall. However, Zack is a man that every Pine Valley woman should be going crazy over. Maybe things will get really interesting and Zack will end up with , let me guess Greenlee. I really hope not, at least put him with someone we would never expect like, Julia. She is one character that is under utilized and could bring about some good scenes.

Also, I am guessing that crazy but very toddler like Richie has a donor match and by the smirk of" I got you now son", on Adam Chandler's face it must be J.R.. If that is the case Richie has better chances of getting Babe as his girl than help from J.R. Although is J.R. does help Richie this might score some points with his on again off again love Babe. Which brings me to rekindled love, how great is it that the old gang is back. Jesse, Angie and Tad. All we need is a visit from Jenny and I would bet the rating s of this show would go up , up. Up!

I can't believe that Jesse is really back and alive, but although it makes no sense to me, I want to believe and I am really interested in seeing the outcome of this storyline. To bad Angie's visit back to Pine Valley was based on her only son with Jesse, Frankie being on his death bed. Maybe after Frankie is well Angie will leave town, or maybe someone will be making her stay . Any way you look at it, All My Children has had a better week than previously and I hope the writes keep the momentum up because Springtime is around the corner and everyone loves a good storyline.
