Gillette is currently owned by Procter and Gamble. P&G is a Fortune 500 company which was founded by William Procter and James Gamble back in 1837. It has annual of $83.5 billion and operates in dozens of markets worldwide. It mostly manufactures consumer products and owns some of the world's biggest brands such as Tide detergent, Pampers diapers, Crest toothpaste and Olay skin care products.
-Packaging-
This product comes in an ergonomically designed clear plastic container which holds three ounces of the gel. The packaging is very simple and uses very masculine colors such as blue and gray and a neutral color in white. Sometimes simple is better since people are in a hurry nowadays and do not have time to read truckloads of information. There is a round knob which you turn in order to make the gel come out through the holes. In principle this works similar to a stick deodorant. Don't forget to remove the topmost cover however.
-Application-
Simply remove the topmost cover and turn the knob at the bottom to adjust the flow of the gel. Apply it like you would a deodorant stick.
-Scent-
The scent is very masculine in nature. This is the quality I liked in the Axe deodorants and as well with the Irish Spring line of soaps. This is unlike some of the deodorants which have too weak a fragrance or have offensive fragrances.
-Ingredients-
Active Ingredients: Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly 18.3%
Inactive Ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat., Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone Copolyol, Fragrance
-Caution-
Please wait for the gel to dry for a minute or two before wearing any clothing. You wouldn't want your clothes to be stained. Also denatured alcohol is poisonous as it has intentionally been poisoned to prevent it from being consumed by humans and to prevent excessive taxation. Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly is also a neurotoxin. It can damage the nervous system. I would not recommend ingesting this product.
-Distribution-
Being a product of P&G, Gillette Cool Wave Clear Gel Deodorant benefits from an excellent distribution system. You could find this product in grocery stores, big retail outlets, drugstores and the internet.
-Pricing-
This product would cost you somewhere between $3 - $4.
-Support-
For an questions, comments and inquiries, you could reach customer support by sending an email to http://www.gillette.com and you could reach customer service by dialing 1-800-445-5388 (1-800-GILLETTE).
The Verdict
I have been using deodorants since I was a teenager. I have tried a couple of brands such as Axe, Old Spice and Rexona. While they did their job in preventing excessive sweating and body odor, Axe had a scent that did not last very long, Old Spice was not as easy to apply while Rexona left residue in my arm pits.
Enter Gillette Cool Wave Clear Gel Deodorant. At first I was surprised at the concept of having a gel form of deodorant. I had previously only been exposed to roll-ons, sticks and spray-ons. While this idea may seem quite futuristic and cool, I was a skeptic at first. Then I was pleasantly surprised that the gel dried very quickly. The product also had a nice manly scent. To my dismay however, it is not the best thing to use when you need to be sweating buckets because it did not provide as much sweat protection as I had anticipated.
While I may be using the product on occasion, I would rather be going for a stick or roll-on because they simply last longer and are more effective. The gel however, is good for people who do not sweat as much. It is more convenient than other methods and is light and invisible.
I am on the road often and also play contact sports such as basketball. I would need a good deodorant to help me get through the day fresh and comfortable. I also do not want to smell bad in front of people whether it be a friend or relative or a complete stranger. I do not want to tell him that I smell bad because of a gland problem.I would rather use a deodorant and be safe.
I would recommend this product for people who feel irritated by the residue left by roll-ons or the unreliability of spray-ons. To me this product is very much similar to the stick except it has a twist to it. The price is not bad at all considering similar offerings in the marketplace. You might want to try it sometime. © TheChosen1. Review is published in other sites under the same name

You should go into advertising! How detailed! Mr. Gamble's old summer house (it's neat! - a Snow White cottage is there too) is down the street from us and I love all of their products.
