All of My Family!

A Year of Poems: Day Three Hundred and Sixty-Four

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
As this year winds down
I have to stop for a minute
And give a prayer of thanks
For my life and who is in it!

Of course it is my family
So much love to behold
I'm so fortunate to have them
Truly worth much more than gold!

But my family reaches far and wide
My friends both near and far
Even ones I have never met
Each one my family; each one a star!

So thanks to my family
Which you certainly are a part
Whether by blood or friendship
You truly belong to the family of my heart!
