However, one thing that is true about life is that everything good does come in time, but only to those that work for it. What matters is not the success of the attempt that one makes to recover from anxiety, but the attempt itself.
Those that have given up and resigned in life can very well be assured that positive change in the future is very unlikely. How likely is it that new friends, a new relationship, or a great job comes one's way if one is not even attempting to find one? If a person is reading this article and finds him or herself in such a position, he or she should not be offended, but rather motivated because he or she is now aware and knows that doing nothing is the surest recipe for unhappiness.
However, if one wants to have new friends, a new relationship, a new job, or whatever it is, he or she will eventually have it if he or she keeps working to get it. There is no specific recipe or formula for those interested in gaining these things. Different things work for different people, and if things are meant to happen, they will happen. Those who try are rewarded with the good things that they need in life.
Sometimes, some people may become upset because they work very hard and still do not get what they want. In this case, it is wise to realize that there is a large difference between needs and wants. A job, family, friends, a significant other - these are all needs and always come at the right time to people who work for them. A high-paying executive job, hundreds of friends, and many different girlfriends are wants, and are not necessarily good things for people to have who do not know how to handle them.
So, while life might stink right now for some, many need to realize that all things that are good and needed by human beings come in good time if one works for them. It may take several years' worth of hard work before one finally reaches some of these goals, but one will be so happy and satisfied once he or she gains what he or she needs. Even though it may become hard at times, this end result is much better than the result of not trying. Loneliness, despair, depression, and poor health, among many other things, are the result of not trying.
Happiness, satisfaction, family, friends, a satisfying job, a significant other - these are the things that a person will attain if he or she works hard, but always remember that it is not on the anxious person's time table! It may take longer (maybe even shorter) than one anticipates, but come it will, and life will be wonderful when those good things come in due time!
