Halloween is All Hallow's Eve
Who are we to deceive?
Children prancing in anticipation
Of all they will receive.
Who are we to deceive?
Children prancing in anticipation
Of all they will receive.
Costumes, candy, ghosts and witches
Is this what it's all about?
Or is it the mystery of night
Do you have any doubt?
Haunted houses and scary movies
Are a tradition this time of year.
Is this really a holiday
to which we should not fear?
October is the month we
Celebrate a pagan high holy day
For those saints who are gone
Honoring the souls who have passed away
You decide what you will do
To commemorate the day.
Play tricks or get a treat,
It's up to you, do what you may.
