All You Need is Love..

Sounds like an Old Beatles's Song..

...Love is all you need. Sounds like an old Beatles song. Like some mantra from the psychedelic sixties: Peace, Love and Brotherhood. Actually, love is the least threatening thing there in creation, since true love asks nothing in return. Love is the best antidote for fear and doubt. When you seek only love you will find a true peace that transcends the turmoil of this world.

Happiness cannot be sought directly; it is the byproduct of LOVE and SERVICE. Just as self-esteem is the byproduct of hard work... Being of service to our fellow man is the highest expression of love. Love is what supports the Spiritual growth in one's self and others. Little acts of love erase the rough places and helps us walk a smoother path. Individuals who hate and act selfish are acting against their own being. They may think that they can profit from other's pain...but spiritual laws cannot be broken without there being a debt... They cut themselves off from God and block the sunshine needed for real growth. Stagnated souls grow weary in attempts to find power and experience little joy. A song from the musical "South Pacific" states you have to be taught how to hate. Well, conversely have to be taught how to love. Both are abstract concepts that change how we view the world. Shed your faultfinding tendencies. Love always seeks forgiveness. Seek only love and it will find you. For it is only in giving love away that leaves a space to receive. The best way to love anything is to realize it might be lost. Love those close to you in this moment because there are no guarantees that tomorrow will come.

Love and fear cannot share the same space. The discomfort we feel about others always stems from either fear or guilt. When we feel threatened by another individual we will attack that individual to hide our own vulnerability. The ego would rather be right than be happy. Many egos think that putting others down will make them look bigger. How small indeed. Then, our guilt continues to attack because the ego must always be right. Our past sins color our behavior because we try to hide. (Like Adam.) Our perceptions color every experience we have. If we re-frame what we see, situations change almost instantly. Without distortions and limitations, we can achieve a greater personal happiness. Goals will be achieved almost effortlessly when we approach them in the vision of a new light.

Proactive forgiveness can be a wonderful gift to yourself, or others. This is the only way misconceptions can be undone. We do not remember things as they were, but how we saw them. See them with love and you will react to them in a new way. Skill comes from doing. Practice daily in the same manner you develop other skills.

Love has inner peace as your only goal. What good is it to gain the whole world and loose your own being? When seeking to obtain something from others you will only be happy when receiving. You will hate individuals that do not give you what you demand. Hate is always limiting. Hates states that others should be different. "Shoulds" are very limiting; they always originate from someone else's belief system. They fill us with doubts and make life impossible to even try. Hate forces limitations, where love offers options.

Do you want to experience conflict or joy? You are the one that can choose peace or choose turmoil. The option is yours to choose. What we think about we become, it's a matter of cognitive restructuring. Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind. The only power we may ever have in this life is to choose which thoughts to entertain. (Metaphysics 101.)

We are never upset or angry for the reason we think. We are only hurt when we think that others are trying to do us harm or take advantage of us. We can choose to be right in our perceptions, or we can choose to be happy. Seeking harmony can change the thoughts that hurt. Try to see the other person's perspective. We all want to be right, but no one can be right all the time. Even a broke clock is right twice a day. Walk a mile in the other man's moccasins and you may understand that he is cranky from sore feet.

Be a channel for love and you will receive what you have asked. Who is the bravest hero? The one who turns his enemy into a friend. We can have a million friends and never find happiness for when we have one enemy we will see him everywhere.
