All Natural Flaxseed Apple Cinnamon Waffles by De Wafelbakkers Review
These Had a Wonderful Taste and Were Really Healthy
Prior to eating these pancakes my son had also had their Organic Blueberry Pancakes, A+ Cinnamon All Natural Whole Grain Spelt Sweet Potato Pancakes, All Natural Buckwheat Berry Flaxseed Pancakes and their Organic Blueberry Spelt Waffles. I was growing quite fond of the brand and I was especially happy about them using organic ingredients in some of their frozen breakfast foods. The All Natural Flaxseed Apple Cinnamon Waffles by De Wafelbakkers is not an example of one of their food with organic ingredients but they do still have some very good ingredients in them. These pancakes are made up of whole wheat flour, sugar, egg whites, water, rice bran oil and/or canola oil, flax seed meal, apple flavor-ettes made from sugar, corn syrup, corn cereal, modified food starch, vegetable oil, natural flavor, caramel color and malic acid, dried apples, fructan, cinnamon, soy lecithin, whey salt, xanthan gum and leavening made of calcium acid pyrophosphate and sodium bicarbonate and vanilla is the last ingredient. In addition they also have some very good nutrition facts.
The nutrition facts of the All Natural Flaxseed Apple Cinnamon Waffles by De Wafelbakkers are based on three waffles and the box contains nine waffles. In three waffles there is two hundred and ten calories with one hundred calories from fat. There is also one hundred and sixty milligrams of sodium in a serving size of three waffles as well as twenty-seven carbohydrates, eleven grams of sugars and four grams of both fiber and protein. The nutrition facts list both calcium and iron with six percent in the minerals and vitamins section. I was pretty pleased with these nutrition facts. I was also pleased with the taste of the waffles. They had a wonderful cinnamon and apple flavor that I really enjoyed. My son also really enjoyed them as well, so I think that we will be getting them again. They probably will not be our first choice because they are not organic and the organic waffles sold by the same company cost the same amount, which is one dollar and fifty cents.
I would recommend to anyone to give these waffles a try. If pancakes are more your thing I would recommend getting frozen pancakes from this company as well. I think that I like the waffles from the De Wafelbakkers more than I like their pancakes. Mainly because of the price though, I think that both foods taste great. It is just that you get nine waffles for a dollar and fifty cents or six pancakes for one dollar and twenty-five cents. It is something like the pancakes are about three or four cents more expensive and as far as I can tell they are about the same size. For this reason though we will likely get the waffles more often than we get the pancakes.
