All About One-of-a-Kind Music Artist Josh Groban

Josh Groban is my favorite music artist because he has a voice of angel. I first heard Josh Groban when I was listening to the car radio. The song and voice was unlike any other I had ever heard before. From this moment on he became my favorite music artist, and his music is what I turn to for inspiration and joy.

Josh Groban's Beginning

Josh Groban's big break happened when he stood in for Andrea Burcelli to rehearse "The Prayer" with Celine Dione at the 1998 Grammy rehearsals. This was the beginning of his rise to stardom. Groban released his first self-titled album in 2001. This album soon reached double platinum. Groban's second album "Closer" was released in 2003, and has reached four time platinum status in the USA. Groban's third album "Awake" was released in 2006, and has gone multi-platinum in the USA. Groban's fourth album "Noel" was a Christmas Album that was released in 2007. Groban's fifth album "Illuminations" was released on November 15, 2010.

Josh Groban Tour

Josh Groban is planning a world tour to promote his fifth album "Illuminations." The first stop of the tour is in New Orleans on May 12. Groban is planning to go back to doing smaller concert venues with understated and simple concert sets. This enables Groban to interact with his fans. At the beginning of some of the smaller concerts Groban has a question and answer session with the fans. This part of the concert has become insanely popular with Groban's fans.

Josh Groban the Movie Star

You will soon be able to go to the movie theatre to see Josh Groban. Groban is playing an impolite attorney alongside Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in the comedy movie "Crazy, Stupid, Love," which is due out in theaters on July 29. In Groban's earlier days he made guest appearance on Ally Mcbeal, and numerous talk shows.

Josh Groban's Contribution to Global Music Relief Effort Japan

Dozens of artist are contributing their voice as way to raise money to help those devastated by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Josh Groban's contribution to this event is his song "Awake." All of the proceeds go immediately to benefit the Japanese Red Cross.
