All About the State of New York's Free Smokers' Quitline

Mag Inzire
New York has a smokers' quitline, as I'm sure many other states do. I am emphasizing this because although the ads are everywhere, I am still baffled at how many are not aware of such a program. As a New York-based medical practitioner who tries to stress wellness and health, I find that many say they have never heard of such a program.

My only thought process to this is that the information although readily available is often ignored by those who believe if they do not read or hear about them then they won't have to think about it. Whatever the reason may be it is important to know that such programs do exist, most programs to help in wellness are free and they are equipped as to make it easily accessible.

This program is offered to all of NY state residents that are smokers. It is a completely free program and offers FREE starter kits of Nicotine Patches, Gum or Lozenges for eligible NYS smokers.
