All I Want for Christmas is a Justin Bieber Doll

Just Another Bieber Marketing Opportunity

Valerie Ferrari
Justin Bieber is only 16 years old, but he's such a sensation that his team just has to take advantage of every marketing opportunity out there. Bieber's been on TV, he's on T-shirts, he's written his autobiography and now he's a doll.

The popularity of the Canadian singing star is crossing over to the toy market, now that Justin Bieber dolls and bears wearing Justin Bieber-related tee shirts will be on the shelves of Toys R Us. The doll has the same hairdo as Justin, but it doesn't look all that much like him in the face, at least in my opinion. Maybe they had to rush them into production to get them out in time for Christmas.

But don't despair -- looks aren't everything. The Justin Bieber doll comes with a guitar and a themed microphone that lets kids play 30 second clips of Bieber's most popular songs, "Baby" and "One Less Lonely Girl."

Hey, there's another opportunity in this yet -- child-size Justin Bieber toy guitars and karaoke machines! Better get the team on it, Justin, you're not getting any younger.

The dolls will be made by global music merchandising company, Bravado in partnership with The Bridge Direct. The damages will range from $8 for the Bieber bears to $28 for the singing Bieber dolls.

Got those wallets out yet?

I saw the kid in a cameo spot on a TV crime show--he was pretty good. I didn't expect him to have talent, too. I should have known...

I remember my girl getting a Ken doll and saying, he has comb babble hair. I wonder if Justin Bieber has combable hair. LOL!
