All Women's Family Planning Center in Tampa Florida: Affordable Pap Test for Women
A Complete Review of an Abortion Clinic, and What You Should Know
Tampa, FL 33613
United States of America
I happened upon this clinic while searching for a Gynecologist. All I needed was a routine pap smear, and a prescription for birth control pills. Within two hours I had called over thirty different offices, gathering a rage of prices. Since I no longer had health insurance, I was forced to compare prices, and shop around. My Doctor, whom I had seen in the past, wouldn't even see me without insurance. As I called around town I was given quotes of up to $700.00, not including the labs fee's, which I would be billed separately, and as everyone knows lab fee's aren't cheap. The cheapest place I was able to find would still cost me over $300.00, which wasn't in my price range. I'd been on birth control pills for over five years, and knew that regardless, I was going to have to find away. With two children already, I wasn't willing to face the fact that I might have to stop talking the pill for a while, and rely on other protection.
Just as I was about to give up on finding anyone cheaper then $300.00, I stumble across the number for the All Women's Family Planning Center. This office is an abortion clinic, and I didn't really know what to expect. Let's just say I was in a state of shock when I found out that they were able to see me, and how little it was going to cost. For $65.00 I was able to get my annual pap test done, a urine test, blood work, height, weight, and blood pressure checked. Plus that $65.00 also included all the lab fee's. Abortion clinic or not, I need the test done, and I could afford their prices. The clinic also offers birth control pills bought directly from them for a lot cheaper then the cost you'll pay at local pharmacies.
I will admit that I was a little apprehensive walking in there, but quickly found out that yearly exams are scheduled on a certain day, one in which no abortions are performed. So, the few of us setting in there, were all there for the same reason. My appointment was at 2 o'clock, and I was seen within 10 minutes. The office was nicely decorated, and very clean. The staff was super friendly, and very professional. Everything from the office decorations, to the equipment was very modern. Honestly, if you didn't know it was an abortion clinic, you'd never think it was. It was nothing like what I expected it to be. In fact, I liked this office better then my normal doctor, who I'd seen while having insurance. All of my questions was answered, and I was in and out, in no time. I plan on going back next year for annual exam, and have recommended it to all my friends.
