All Work and No Play

I have worked

All over Christmas

New Year was busy too

No rest for me then

I was too tired

To celebrate

Whilst others

Partied through the night

They return to work

Whilst I go on vacation

No crowds to contend with

No queuing at all

As I head to the sun

All ready to relax

Back home all are hard working

Festivities forgotten

As they try their damndest

To avoid

Getting the axe
