Alleged Ex-Mistress of Tiger Woods Turns P.I

Rachel Uchitel, the New York woman who's name was the first to surface the in Tiger Woods scandal on that fateful Thanksgiving day in 2009, has entered the world of private investigating. Uchitel, who denied having an affair with Tiger Woods, started her new gig as a private investigator, just a day after graduating from P.I. school, according to Radar Online.

In an interview with Fox News back in Dec., Uchitel said she learned to shoot a weapon and use a taser, as part of her private investigator training. She said she already went undercover while she was in the P.I. class and described it as being very cool. According to the DGA Detectives Academy, where Uchitel took her training, she scored a 97% on her final exam, one of the highest scores in the academy's history.

Rachel Uchitel, said she doesn't plan on doing her detective work in the areas of cheating spouses, but rather wants to concentrate on solving cases for the underdogs and people who don't have a voice. She's pursuing her career in New York. Uchitel retired last year from VIP nightclub hostessing and is now gainfully employed in this entirely new field.

Uchitel became a tabloid sensation when her name became the first one of a string of mistresses tied to Tiger Woods. Despite denying having any affairs with Woods, her name started the demise of the golf king, eventually costing him his marriage, and millions in divorce court. Today, although Woods went through rehab after his string of scandelous affairs came to light, in an attempt to not only save his marriage, but also his golf career, he hasn't totally returned to the golf superstar status he once held.

Although Uchitel denied the affair with Tiger Woods, she did come clean about her addictions, which she said were prescription drugs and love, and did have a stint in rehab because of them. She said this will have no effect on her new career because it would probably take awhile for anyone to recognize her when she goes undercover.
