Allison Iraheta Turns Disco into Rock and Stays Safe for Another Week

I said last week that I was a little worried about Allison Iraheta this week and Simon actually reiterated that very concern. However, this kid is showing that she is packed with talent and Danny and Kris need to be worried about who is going to be facing off against Adam in the finals.

Allison performed Hot Stuff and took the disco out of disco. I was really curious to see how she was going to pull this week off and the moment I saw her in leather on those steps, I knew it was going to be something fun. Was it her best performance? Absolutely not, but it was a good enough to get her out of this week and alive in the competition.

The vocals that Allison has are unreal and she showed it in this song. She performed a very sultry, sexy, rock ballad that we extremely entertaining. I am not sure that she could have picked another song that she would have been able to do this with, but who cares! She did it and there is no question that she is going to make it to the final five.

It will be very curious to see how the rest of the season is going to play out. It is highly unlikely that Lil Rounds is going to survive this week and then Allison will be the only girl left on the show. Will the girls unite and keep her alive every week? If so, Kris and Danny are in for some serious heat as they fight over the teeny bopper vote and Allison rakes in everything else.

I continue to be impressed with the growth that Allison shows on this show and am very much enjoying the transformation that we are witnessing before our eyes. She continues to impress with original versions of everything that she performs. Allison will be safe this week and probably for many more to come.
