Allowing: Resisting What is in Your Life Won't Change It

Learn Acceptance so You Can Be Free to Profit from the Lessons of the Past

What if you decided to stop resisting what you don't like about your life and just allowed it to be? What would that be like, to just give in, to surrender? How would it feel to stop all the action and your hard work to change what is and simply accept it exactly as it is without prejudice. After all, it is what it is. Now I didn't say to like it, if in fact you don't, but to let it be ok, whatever it is, and start from there to live your life differently.

You're overweight - and so it is.
You're angry - and so it is.
You're frustrated -and so it is.
You're not happy -and so it is.
You're stuck -and so it is.
You're disappointed in yourself -and so it is.

You accept these feelings and the situation because it's there, it's happened, it's in your face, so to speak. Then begin from there and decide what you want for your future and what steps you will take to create it. If you relax your mind into every situation exactly the way it is and accept that fact without any if's, and's, or but's. Then you can gain peace, self-acceptance, and the ability to allow solutions. Otherwise, you are locked in that place of your past behaviors which created your present reality. Those actions are lost to you and cannot be changed. It's history. Learn its lesson. You don't like the outcome and you don't want to repeat yourself . Accept what you have, like it or not, and do things differently from where you are. Begin where you are with acceptance and go from that starting point; mold your future results with every action you take now. Don't hold onto the past, let it go; you're future depends on it.
