Almond Milk Smoothie Recipe

If you are lactose intolerant here is a simple very nutritious smoothie that can be made with almond milk.

Ingredients: For optimum health benefits I highly recommend organic ingredients.

8ozs of organic almond milk
1/2 cup of organic blueberries
1/2 cup of organic rasberries
one rounded tablespoon of vegan rice protein
1/4 teaspoon organic cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon white stevia powder
one rounded tablespoon organic flaxeed meal

Add all ingredients in a blender, blend until very smooth
pour in glass and enjoy!!!

If you can tolerate whey protein , you may substitute it for rice protein instead.
I am highly sensitive, I can't have anything with milk by-products in it.
I use blueberries and rasberries because they are very high in antioxidants
I use cinnamon because it helps reduce inflammation and it is a natural fat burner.
I use flaxseed meal because it serves a twofold purpose:
It add bulk and it has naturally occurring phytoestrogens that
exhibit antioxidant activity and support healthy cell replication and cardiovascular function.
Lastly, stevia has been around for over 2,000 years it is much better for you than sweeteners
that have aspertame. I stay clear of aspertame because it gives me a massive headache.
