Then I met Karen McCarter, the president of Aloette of Arcadia, in person. I told her my fears about the Essential Cleansing Oil. She told me that a lot of women feel this way, which really didn't surprise me. Then, Karen began listing off all of the different benefits that this product has:
1. It plumps your eyelashes.
Yes, I know it sounds strange, but it's true. It has so many different oils (safflower seed oil, sunflower seed oil, avocado oil, evening primrose oil...) that it infuses your lashes and actually helps them thicken and grow.
2. It breaks down makeup very quickly.
You know how baby oil gets your mascara off really quick? This gets your makeup off, including mascara, even quicker. Plus, it doesn't leave that greasy residue that baby oil does.
3. It's water soluble.
That means it breaks down in water. Karen showed me something really cool regarding this. She took a clear glass of water and added a couple of drops of the Essential Cleansing Oil. As you would expect, the oil floated on top of the water. Then, Karen stirred up the water with her finger. Guess what? The oil broke down in the water. It completely dissolved. Well, that's what it does to the dirt in your pores! It glides over and gets trapped in your pores, mixing in with the dirt. When rinsed with water, all of the dirt breaks down and washes clean away.
4. There is no residue left after rinsing.
As I said before, Aloette Essential Cleansing Oil completely breaks down in water. It rinses clean away, and leaves your face feeling smooth and refreshed.
5. It moisturizes like no other cleanser I've ever used.
Hey, it's oil. It saturates your skin with moisture, leaving it smooth and glowing. My skin always feels smoother after I use Essential Cleansing Oil.
6. The Price is right.
Essential Cleansing Oil cost just $16.50 for a 2 fl. oz. bottle. I've had mine for a little over 6 months, and I still have a third of a bottle to go. It is worth the price because you don't use it up too quickly. It lasts a very long time.
7. It smells WONDERFUL.
You mainly smell the evening primrose oil. It is absolutely heavenly, and the scent stays with you for a few hours after cleansing your skin. It's not a heavy scent, but it is definitely pleasing.
Overall, I highly recommend Aloette Essential Cleansing Oil, especially for skin that needs a little more moisture and/or to those that wear a lot of makeup. It's a terrific product. The only down side is that you can only purchase through an Aloette Beauty Consultant!
