That is, until I discovered Aloette's Warming Pumpkin Energizing Masque. Oh my goodness. You just feel like you're in heaven in your own bathroom. I kid you not.
Applying the masque is simple. Just wash your face, pat dry, then massage a good amount of the masque onto your face, avoiding the eye area. What I do is put about a quarter-sized dollup in my hand, then spread it on my face with my fingers. This masque feels gummy, sticky and very thick. There are also little grainy bits, called macrospheres, in the masque. Those come into play a little bit later.
As you massage the masque in, you will feel a warming sensation immediately. I didn't really believe it until I tried. Seriously, the masque heats up as you massage it into your face. And it is DIVINE!!! Never before have I felt something so comforting and soothing. And it smells awesome.
After massaging for a little while, the macrospheres will break and release Vitamin E directly into your skin. Of course, Vitamin E is fantastic for your skin. It gives it moisture while renewing and rejuvenating the first three layers of your skin. Plus, the macrospheres act as an exfoliant until they break!
But That's Not All!
As soon as the warming sensation decreases, you wet your hands, then continue massaging the masque into your face. Guess what! The warming will reactivate, bringing you into second warming phase of the masque. This allows for maximum penetration of Vitamin E into your skin. The Vitamin E is carried into your bloodstream through your skin cells, which allows for a longer-lasting effect.
Then you just continue massaging until the warming sensation is gone. Afterwards, you just rinse your face thoroughly and pat dry. Follow with your regular toning and moisturizing regimen.
You will see and feel results immediately with Warming Pumpkin Energizing Masque. You skin feels so smooth, and you're just positively glowing. Your face feels warm, fresh and clean. It is recommended that you use this product once a week, but it is tempting to use it way more than that.
The ingredients are listed as follows:
PEG-8, Diglycerin, Zeolite, Attapulgite, Kaolin, Hydroxypropylcellulose, PEG-150 Distearate, Pumpkin Enzymes, Jojoba Esters, Vitamin E, Pumpkin Peel, Hydroloyzed Jojoba Esters, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Ures, Purified Water, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Yellow 5 Lake, Red 30 Lake, Fragrance
You can purchase this wonderful item for $25 from an Aloette Beauty Consultant. Warming Pumpkin Energizing Masque is also offered as a Super Sale Special, which means that you can get it at a discount if you place an order of $40 or more. The price may seem a bit steep, but it's a 4oz. tube that lasts a very long time. (I've had the same tube since September!)
Warming Pumpkin Energizing Masque is an awesome product to have and to give as a gift-- especially to someone who loves "face stuff." I highly recommend this product to everyone with skin!
