I was alone in the dark
I knew it so
Strange feelings became consuming
The cold ran through my veins
Only silence remained
And the goodness of my soul
Yet still alone I was
Left in the dark
Fearing only what is not there
I knew the dark very well
Yet still remained my fear
For my fear was truly
Just being Alone in the Dark
