Al-Qaeda and the Possible Nuclear Winter

How long will it be before Al-Qaeda arms their terrorist organization with nuclear weaponry, or maybe this group of extremist has these weapons readily available to bring down America and any country that stands in its way for supreme domination. Many American military top brass and other world-wide military leaders fear what Al-Qaeda is possible of doing and performing in a brief period of time.

The mission of Al-Qaeda came into light in the late nineteen eighties; Usama Bin Laden is the mastermind behind this organization and its network of terrorist activity. Usama Bin Laden devout followers established name is well known in the Middle East. "Al-Qaeda" is Arabic for "the base." It is well known that military intelligence world-wide is aware that there is more than one central base located in Afghanistan. The Middle East has many established terrorist locations, but the only problem is finding where their main networks are located.

According to the former CIA Director George J. Tenet Al-Qaeda's activities were beginning to take their toll and stronghold in the region, "Usama Bin Ladin's organization and other terrorist groups are placing increased emphasis on developing surrogates to carry out attacks in an effort to avoid detection. For example, the Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ) is linked closely to Bin Ladin's organization and has operatives located around the world-including in Europe, Yemen, Pakistan, Lebanon, and Afghanistan. And, there is now an intricate web of alliances among Sunni extremists worldwide, including North Africans, radical Palestinians, Pakistanis, and Central Asians. Some of these terrorists are actively sponsored by national governments that harbor great antipathy toward the United States."

The ultimate victory for Usama Bin Ladin's attack against the U.S. was conducted on September 11, 2001, a day that will live in the minds and heart of all American citizens who were old enough to comprehend this cold-blooded tragedy.

Unfortunately, Al-Qaeda has come home to roost, and her evil manifestations have spawned new recruits in their attempt to disrupt the so called American way of life. Many Americans may not remember when Hiroshima and Nagasaki where devastated when American bombers dropped two Atomic Bombs on these two cities, it may seem terribly ironic that history may one day repeat itself. America is not a safe haven anymore, and if you believe this is so, then maybe the American people are living in a false fairy tale - one step away from a nuclear winter that is all too seldom a bitter taste of reverent reality.
