Alternative News Sites that Cover Unconventional News

Alternative History, Knights Templar, Archaeology and More Are Covered by These Sources

Thomas H Forthe
Some people have a nagging need to learn outside the box, and the alternative news sites are just the place to keep up with items not covered by NBC.... Some subjects are treated like taboos by our national and certain world news outlets. You will seldom find stories about Cryptozoology, alternative history, or lost civilizations on the regular news, but sites like, www.dailygrail.com/, seldom cover anything else.

If your interests include such diverse subjects as archaeology, animals that as yet remain unproven to exist, unidentified flying objects, fringe science, or paranormal phenomenon then these sites will be worth a visit.

Some of the subjects covered are topics that one cannot find easily in any other media. Some topic like the Knights Templar are a part of our history, but one that has a long and secretive place that will astound anyone delving deeper into those mysteries enshrouding them. The Knights Templar, left as a legacy, some of the most enduring puzzles and ciphers the world has ever seen. www.renneslechateau.com/default-uk.htm is a great place to start that journey.

Alternative news sites abound with conspiracy theories, cutting edge science (written for the laymen), Astronomy (NASA makes its way into these sites on a regular basis), and of course Pseudo science that is often quite entertaining if only for a laugh, or the shock factor.

Many alternate theories are presented, and occasionally reputed. For example Egypt is often in the heat of things with theories on the sphinx being much older than reported, or that it resides above a vast library of knowledge hidden by our forefathers... but on a fresher note, Archaeology is covered frequently with new discoveries and day to day news.

Cryptozoology is a common topic, with tales of modern dinosaurs, Bigfoot, and lake monsters. There are new discoveries every year, and some animals that once were a part of everyday Crypto Zoology are now a part of regular Zoology. You never know who or what will pop up next. Many of these stories make for some very interesting reading!

Conspiracy theories are also frequent fare, with topics from the Government covering up new fuel resources like table top fusion, to world wide conspiracies like the masons or Illuminati.

Some of the topics are laudable, many are fascinating, but anyone with an active imagination will find fodder for thought! Perhaps an aspiring author might even find the next best seller lurking within... after all, this is the breeding grounds of works like "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons"!

The Discovery channel periodically covers conspiracy theories, but I'm sure these websites cover the topic extensively.

I bet some of these sites are even more popular than the conventional ones. Everyone loves a good conspiracy theory.
