Cougar Mountain Academy is a school for gifted students, grades kindergarten through fifth. It's been established since 1962. Cougar Mountain offers an individualized curriculum, focusing most on intellectual growth, academic achievement, self-motivation, character development and high expectations. Cougar Mountain has achieved a high academic record, having test scores ranking in the top 5% on a national level.
Cougar Mountains program is year round, compromised of four quarters. The summer quarter is focused on social development while the fall, winter, and spring quarters focus on academics. The summer quarter is free for students registered for the remainder of the school year. Cougar Mountain Academy is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools.

2. Emerald Heights Academy
Emerald Heights Academy was founded by Catholic educators, their goal to transform society by developing Christ-centered leaders and learners. Emerald Height offers education for grades kindergarten through eighth.
Tuition is $420 monthly, $131 application and testing fees, and a $147 registration fee. A book and material fee is also required.

3. St. Joseph School of Issaquah
St. Joseph offers educations for grades kindergarten through eighth, spanning over three campuses. Preschool - 3rd at St. Joseph Parish in Issaquah, 4th - 8th at St. Joseph School in Snoqualmie, and Preschool at Mary, Queen of Peace in Sammamish.
St Joseph is a fully accredited catholic school founded in 1994. The goal of St Joseph is to be, "devoted to fostering an environment that enhances the spiritual growth of our children within a nurturing, Catholic community. 4. Dartmoor School
Dartmoor offers education for grades first through twelfth. It is accredited by Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Education.
Dartmoor focuses on offering every student the opportunity to learn and do well in an environment where they are honored and respected. Dartmoor School provides a unique educational approach where students are assessed to determine their individual needs. A program is then created to meet those needs.
