Although a Minor Figure in Peter Pan, Tinkerbell Has Recently Become a Popular Subject for All Kinds of Merchandise
Tinkerbell both falls in love and gets angry with Peter Pan, but Peter Pan does not reciprocate those feelings in the American musical version of the play that was later taped to show on television, which starred Mary Martin on Broadway, among other leading ladies.
On stage at times Tinkerbell was depicted by a light that changes position around the stage, while in cartoon films Tinkerbell is usually accompanied by pixie dust when she flies or moves. In certain versions she is portrayed as being able to speak, while in others her voice is represented by bells tinkling. Tinkerbell was created in the 1953 cartoon film as having blond hair, big blue eyes and wearing a short green dress. Today you will find a tinkerbell figure that captures the fun of that original film character.
Figurines of Tinkerbell are available that feature the fairy seated in a pink tea cup adorned with roses, with rose leaves adorning the base. Another popular figurine shows Tinkerbell seated with legs crossed, looking up with her luminous blue eyes. Yet another depicts Tinkerbell seated crossed-legged on a delicious slice of chocolate layer cake, holding up a bit of the corner of the cake.
You will also find other tinkerbell gifts perfect for birthdays or any festive occasion. You can find Tinkerbell seated in front of a tiny fairy house, with a pink door, a shingled roof and a chimney with smoke coming out as a yard decoration. A mushroom cap sits on the roof of the fairy house, with a hook shaped out of green metal and adorned with tiny pink roses to complete the look. You can find these and other delightful Tinkerbell collectables from fine figurine vendors online.
