Aluminum Foil

I use aluminum foil for many different thing. It costs under a dollar so it is helpful to havce in the home

- We line our barbeque grill with it to keep the grease off. We also line the bottom of the grill with the aluminum foil and place the brisquettes into the basin, that way when we are done all we have to do is pull up the aluminum foil, ashes and all and just throw it away.

- Aluminum foil can also be used to to clean tarnished silverware, line a pan with a sheet of aluminum foil, fill it with cold water, and add two teaspoons of salt, then just drop the tarnished silver ware intor the solution, a couple of minutes to sit and soak and then just rinse off the tarnish is gone.

- If you have a steel wool pad that looks like it is ready for the trash, don't throw it away, wrap the little thing in a sheet of aluminum foil, and put it into your freezer, you'll be able to get one, two or three more uses out of that steel wool pad. Every penny saved helps in this household.

- You can use aluminum foil to remove rust from the chrome of your car, you crumple up a piece of aluminum foil and add some cola to it and scrub the rust right off the chrome.

- Aluminum foil can be used in your garden to deter moths, aphids and other nasty bugs. place the aluminum foil aroung the foil of the plant, the light bouncing up from the sunlight confuses the bugs and keeps them away from your plants.

I line baking pans with it too especially when cooking foods that are particularly messy or greasy. Much easier clean-up!
