Aluminum, Stainless Steel and BPA-Free Reusable Water Bottles

Drinking water is supposed to be good for your health. However with all of this talk about plastic disposable water bottles being dangerous what can you do? The answer is simple use BPA free reusable plastic bottles or stainless steel bottles. Not only are they better for your health but the environment will thank you too! Another great material for a reusable water bottle is stainless steel. While there are numerous merchants providing these bottles as well. Gaiam is a great choice for these. In addition to the stainless steel Gaiam also offers water bottles in aluminum so take your pick. A multitude of designs or solid colors are available.

The best reusable plastic water bottle in my opinion is CamelBak. CamelBak bottles are BPA free and dishwasher safe. In addition, their straws are similar to sippy cups for kids meaning nothing comes out unless you want it to. The only downside in my opinion to any plastic bottle (even the BPA free, environmentally friendly type) is that if you put something with flavor in it sometimes it is not so easy to get the taste out. As mentioned Camelback bottles are dishwasher safe which is a nice feature but when you leave one at work dishwashers are not always readily available. Whatever your choice for a reusable water bottle you can be assured that there are many choices for drinking water free of chemicals. In addition the less you drink from disposable water bottles, the less trash ends up in landfills or in oceans, lakes and streams.
