Always
(From Bones, to the Missing Splinter of Bone)

Tonight, in the resting
called sleep,
your life unfurls; all
the glory, all
the honor, the pleasure -
and pain - of a lifetime,
Fortune's ebb and flow -
it all lies
at your feet
tonight.

The choices you make
in each dream and terror and
on each Morrow's rise
ripple through time
and memory
altering the fate of all
who surround you.

So much
rests in your hands -
so many things
not yet
come to pass -
and you prepare
the paving stones
for the days to follow.

And this day? This
rising Morrow? This great
occasion? A birth? A coming
of age perhaps? Perhaps - but no.
Nothing more grand
than the dawning
of the next day of life.
Live well my friend ~
dream well ~ be well ~

and Be ~
Always.
