Waiting, always waiting
Months pass by
All the same
Hope lingers in the distance
Far distance
Hidden
Unreachable by me
The future in your hands
Never holding a tight grasp
Letting it pass through your fingers
Promises
But still nothing changes
Time is running out
Hope is slowly fading
These feelings possessing, controlling
How much longer can I wait?
How much more can I take?
Months pass by
All the same
