Am I Having Fun

Twelve days it is till Christmas,
And most of us are breathless.
Will it ever get here,
When does the time arrive?
There's still so much cheer,
Maybe we will survive.
Running here Running there,
Frantically running everywhere.
Still shopping to be done,
Am I having so much fun?
I cannot remember.
What day is this, in December?
T'is a day of cheer,
T'is a day of shopping,
T'is a day from home,
Forget the mopping.
Things to be done.
Am I having so much fun?
St. Nick and your elves,
You took everything from the shelves.
What is left for me,
That will fit under the tree?
How oh how can this be?
Next year I will shop early.
Nearer the time,
I have spent every dime.
What have I forgot,
I think I have been shot,
But a shot of cheer,
Not to be undone,
For Christmas is here,
And I am having so much fun.
