Amana 0.7 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave White- AMC1070XW (Review)

Not all microwaves are the same and over the years, I have had many, some worked great, while others did not perform well and lacked important features. Recently, I found the perfect microwave for me; it is compact with advanced features, and fits into my busy lifestyle. It is the Amana Countertop Microwave.

The Amana Countertop Microwave is made by the Amana Company. Amana has a stellar reputation and is well known around the country for their many appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, laundry, and cooking appliances.

My Amana Countertop Microwave has a white exterior with an attractive black interface, measuring 0.7 cu. ft., it fits perfectly with my kitchen décor. I personally like that it is small in size and is lightweight, which gives the ability to transport the appliance from one room to another with ease. The Amana Countertop Microwave comes with a turntable, auto-defrost, control lockout, 10 power levels, and a cooking light with reminder beeps.

Compared to other microwaves I have used in the past, I especially like the way the Amana Countertop Microwave looks and performs. It has a digital clock and timer, easy to push key pad buttons, and the microwave will let out two beeping sounds in intervals to let you know that it is time to remove your food from the microwave. If you ignore the audio notifications and still have not opened the door to retrieve your food, then the microwave will let out two more distinctive beeps about a minute later. The audio notification beeps will continue, until you have removed your food or beverages from the microwave. This is one of my favorite features. The beeps help me to remember that my food has been cooked and it is ready to be taken out. With other microwaves that I have used in the past, when the food was finished cooking, I had no way of knowing that it was done. So, I am very impressed with this special feature.

The Amana Countertop Microwave has 700 watts of power and 10 power levels that allow you to cook a variety of foods easily and perfectly. To open the microwave door, you just push the square shaped button on the bottom right-hand corner, and the door immediately pops open. The microwave also has a bright internal light, so that you can see your food while it is cooking.

If you have been looking for a compact, high quality microwave with special features, and you have small kitchen space, the Amana Countertop Microwave is a great one to try. Even if you have a big kitchen and just need a microwave that will easily fit on your countertop, this is definitely a perfect choice.

I do not have anything negative to say about this microwave it looks great, is easy to use, works wonderfully, and is inexpensive.
